Rocky Steppan-Myers (nee Myers) is a British-American non-binary postgraduate researcher. They split their time between Manchester, UK and Chicago, IL, USA.
As a quantitative social scientist, they are interested in political ideology and cognitive traits. They use R to examine large survey datasets. Their previous work has dealt with power dynamics, systemic violence, and resiliency. They are especially interested in how the urban context influences accessibility, opportunity, and community.
As an amateur hobbyist, they enjoy bouldering, knitting, and film photography. On the weekends, they are usually drinking a soy latte at a cafe or having a walk in the park with their dog and husband.
